CURRENT WORK

Though Peter's work is predominantly non-figurature, stimulus is gained from collections of objects of either private or public significance. He aims at an ambiguity in which forms are familiar yet frequently unidentifiable, -'possible' rather than 'actual'. Objects in domestic interiors have a continuing attraction but much recent work is influenced by artefacts in museums and archeological sites, particulary those seen on travels in Egypt.
